Running a GDPR Assessment
How to start and complete a GDPR compliance assessment with Privacta.
What the GDPR Assessment is
The GDPR Assessment is a guided questionnaire that evaluates your organization’s level of compliance against the main GDPR requirements. At the end you get a score per area and a clear picture of the priorities to act on.
Starting a new assessment
From the Assessment section click New Assessment. Privacta guides you through the thematic areas:
- Legal bases and lawfulness of processing
- Technical and organizational security measures
- Data subject rights
- International data transfers
- Governance and roles (DPO, controllers)
For each area you answer multiple-choice questions. You can save and resume the assessment at any time.
Interpreting the score
At the end Privacta calculates a percentage score for each area and an overall score:
- 80–100% — Compliant area
- 50–79% — Partially compliant, action recommended
- 0–49% — Non-compliant, priority action
Assessment results automatically feed the Gap Analysis: Privacta generates the list of detected gaps without you having to enter them manually.
